GALVALUME (GL)
Description
1. Product Description
Galvalume (GL) is a base steel coated with an alloy consisting of 55% Aluminum (Al), 43.5% Zinc (Zn), and 1.5% Silicon (Si), providing 3-4 times higher corrosion resistance compared to Galvanized Iron (GI). This coating combines the rust resistance of Zinc with the oxidation resistance of Aluminum, ensuring long-lasting durability in various environmental conditions.
2. Key Differences and Outstanding Advantages
Very good Corrosion Resistance – Ideal for coastal areas and harsh environments.
High Heat Reflectivity – Reduces heat absorption, improving energy efficiency.
Crack and Peel Resistance – Ensures long-term adhesion and durability.
