PRE-PAINTED GALVALUME (PPGL)
Description
1. Product Description
Pre-Painted Galvalume (PPGL) steel is a high quality coated steel product. It consists of a base steel coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy (typically 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon), followed by a layer of paint. This combination provides exceptional corrosion resistance and superior durability.
2. Key Advantages of PPGL Steel
Very good Corrosion Resistance – The aluminum-zinc coating offers 3-4 times better protection than conventional galvanized steel.
Extended Durability – Designed for harsh environments, especially coastal areas and high-humidity regions.
Excellent Heat Reflection – Aluminum in the coating helps reflect heat, reducing surface temperature and enhancing energy efficiency.
Smooth & Stain-Resistant Surface – Keeps buildings clean and visually appealing.
